Katherine Semar School, Saffron Walden

This consisted of an infill at the front of the school and localised refurbishment to accommodate a new entrance foyer, reception area, new offices and a completely refurbished library area.

The existing distribution board was upgraded to accommodate the new circuits with RCBO protection throughout.

New LED lighting was installed throughout with a combination of conventional switching and energy saving PIR controls to offices and toilets.

The existing fire alarm system was extended to cover the new areas as was the existing data system.

A new Paxton controlled door entry system was installed on the internal doors so no one could gain access to the main school without permission.
